Anyone else prefer using the STEN over the MP40?

I like it more because it does higher damage. It is silenced too, but I don't get a whole lot of use on stealth in RTCW, one misstep makes it completely useless for the rest of the level for me. I even think it's more accurate too. And I especially found it handy against the Elite Guards because they're so spongy, I never find the MP40 useful against them. In my eyes, the STEN is a direct upgrade to the MP40, even with the overheat.
