With the release of Secret of the Mimic, a lot of people, namely FNAF theorists, became focused on figuring out the bigger mysteries surrounding the game - what's the deal with M1 and M2? Is Edwin alive? What does the lore from this game mean for the future of the franchise? But with this, they forgot to think or talk about smaller mysteries surrounding the MCM facility. And it's one of those mysteries that I've chosen to tackle today.

For the sake of this theory, my question is quite simply - who *exactly* is Dispatch? Or, to be more precise, what is his name, and does he even have any? Well, after some digging, I might have stumbled on an answer.

[How Dispatch is portrayed in-game.](https://preview.redd.it/agejsgjf16jh1.jpg?width=1000&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1a928aa8a64b076e47e6b9090be17c2c2397ac99)

So, what do we know about Dispatch? Well, let's go over this right now:

* He's Arnold's direct supervisor.
* He and Arnold clearly know each other to some extent, given that Dispatch seems to be on a nickname-esque basis to Arnold (even though both men clearly have some distaste for one-another.
* In-game, his voice lines before F10-N4 takes over, show us that he has a cold, dismissive but polite attitude towards Arnold.
* Based on a few hints sprinkled at the beginning, he might be a somewhat high-ranking executive - likely a Department Head or a Director.

Now, as you can see, this doesn't really tell us much about his identity.

But then, I stumbled upon this. This is a snippet from *Tales from the Pizzaplex* story, **The Mimic** \- specifically, it's mentioned in the later half of the story, where Dominic, Harry, and Glen are sent over to MCM to take it over for Fazbear.

In this part, we get Ron, who is described as Dominic's supervisor, who instructs him and his friends to go to MCM in the first place.

[Ron's introduction in \\"The Mimic\\".](https://preview.redd.it/g690vta026jh1.jpg?width=613&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c50d816cf188bcd4be135ed28a6e8175fb9a8d13)

Sounds familiar?

It should, because here's what we know about Ron:

* He's an employee supervisor.
* Likely an executive at Fazbear Entertainment, given that he has access to important files, and might be aware of Mimic's existance.
* Has a cold, dismissive but polite attitude towards people, specifically employees.

This, my friends, quite literally fits Dispatch's whole character to a T, meaning that it's quite possible that Ron is Dispatch's true identity. Now, I know what you're thinking:

*"But isn't Ron a* ***book*** *character - how can he exist? And besides, TalesGames theory is officially debunked, so he's irrelevant and might not even exist."*

Well, first of all, both the Mimic, the MCM, AND the Murray family also originated from the books, making them the case of a canon immigrant (well, Mimic was likely planned to appear in FNAF since Help Wanted, but I diagress), so just because Ron is a book character doesn't mean that he can't also exist in games as well - I'm sure that you're all familiar with the "*canon vs. continuity*" argument at this point, so I won't harp too much on that. What I'm saying is, there's really not that much evidence against Ron existing in the games.

Additionally, if you compare Dispatch's dialogue from SOTM - both used and unused - with what Ron says in the above image, you can see that not only do some of the stuff that Ron says mirrors stuff that Dispatch says at the beginning of SOTM, but both Ron and Dispatch have similar personality and attitude.

And yes, I know that using unused or cut content is tricky, and not really that reliable, but I still wanted to point this out, given that Scott is still involved with at least the writing part of the games, meaning that he likely came up (or helped came up) with the unused dialogue - and besides some differences, it's still looks and sounds quite similar to the one used in the game.

Also, as a final nail in the coffin, if you compare Ron, who is described as "a balding man with beer belly" with Andy Field, the voice actor for Dispatch, you can see that Ron basically looks like Andy if he let himself go.

If you think "yeah, but there's no evidence of Scott using people's like for character's physical appearance", well, I suggest you take a look at [Mr. Burrows](https://freddy-fazbears-pizza.fandom.com/wiki/Mr._Burrows), who's description sounds similar to [Markiplier](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Markiplier) \- if he was a heartless executive.

[Andy Field - aside from beer belly, he fits Dispatch's physical description to some extent.](https://preview.redd.it/qruvivdg16jh1.jpg?width=1058&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=1c279405cbe53c238e2f8822992a9a4841986d25)

So, in conclusion, I think that Dispatch is actually Ron from Tales of the Pizzaplex.

Now, personally, I don't see that much of an issue with Ron being Dispatch's real name - for one, it doesn't conflict with pre-established lore, and since really no other candidates for Dispatch's real identity, I think this is a pretty open and shut case.

In any case, what do you guys/galls/theythems think?

IMPORTANT! I think I might have figured out Dispatch's real name.
