Has anyone else found that job interviewees a bit unhinged?

Hello! Putting this out here just in case anyone has any other experience or maybe its my bad luck.

- Recently returned from living abroad (5 years) and looking for a job to settle back to Ireland.

- Its a slow process but the interviews I've been sitting have honestly left me speechless.

Interview 1: Non-profit organization, two people in the interview (CEO and manager). The CEO (male) kept questioning about if I had a partner, bf etc it different ways. I gave a politician answer by diverting the question and not really answering. It honestly made me uncomfortable. Has anyone else been through this?

Interview 2: Public sector. WOW, job security for the skitty kittys out there. far right comments, racial comments, questions about my relationship again.

Has anyone experienced any of this behaviour in an interview in Ireland? Its like not really zoom in on my experience but more personal life.

I just want to get into a job, do the work, be respectful to everyone, if a friendship develops happy days but trying to avoid working in toxic environments.
