RS3 Noob question on Revo-Bar for Leagues

I'm sorry if any of this is basic knowledge, as I am quite unfamiliar with RS3, but here goes...

Long-time osrs enjoyer, former RS3 player back in like 2004-2009, and LOVING the league that just dropped. I am however quite confused on the revo bar, especially for leagues.

I went the 'noob' route and basically chose every single Saradomin blessing. I cannot ever get the 'basic attack' triggers to happen when using the revo bar. "Lord of light" in particular is never used while using the revo bar, despite me putting basic attack on the 1st button on the bar. I only ever noticed the blessing on accident once when I manually clicked the button, and it did INSANE damage, and now I'm wondering how I can get it to start proccing on the revo bar.

If anyone has taken this build and has any advice I am very interested, thank you!
