28 M, Pune, Software Dev, Freebird

Hi y’all!

I have lurked on this sub for past few months and I find the folks here respectful enough to give it a try, so here it goes!

I am an 6YoE senior software engineer, M4F, working in Pune, however, by weekend I am gone wandering the mountains of Sahyadris. I am an avid biker who does a bit of both solo and group riding, and I also like to drive and travel in general. You can check my Reddit history to get an idea of my recent travels.

I am 5’6”, working on myself for past 5 months shedding 16kg (96kg today), and am hopeful to keep up with this gym-touring lifestyle with a healthy heart and a capable body. I am not there yet, but I am grinding to meet my goal this year and am halfway done.

I am also a bit of a nerd and an introvert, so I prefer calm cafes or peaceful summits rather than big parties or pubs. I also dabble in your usual movies/animes/video games and don’t shy away from geeking out in front of the close ones.

I am usually very spontaneous and like to live freely. Which is why I have chosen to go CF since this sort of living doesn’t work well with dependents. Also, with the current state of affairs where I feel raising a child is a jigsaw puzzle which frankly I don’t wish to solve.

I am looking for a CF partner with whom I could enjoy some of this freedom and exploration. I totally understand that getting a complete match is not possible and I would respect and participate in their hobbies/likings too, so we both have each other’s company while also maintaining our individuality.

On top of that:

1. I don’t have any preferences of cooking and I usually order out, so I am okay for getting a home maid or ordering out (9-to-5 is busy yo!)
2. I am non-vegetarian and would prefer a partner with same dietary preferences to keep compatibility in the food we prepare/order.
3. I’d prefer if the partner were to continue working so in case of sickness or layoff, the support structure can continue off the other.
4. Partner to be open minded and pragmatic. I love to have healthy debates on the daily stuff and would love someone who takes it with a good spirit. Communication is key and would want to be completely open to my partner and want them to be the same likewise.
5. I am okay with social drinking. While I don’t smoke, I am okay with the partner smoking though as long as she keeps it respectful around the family. Lastly, no drugs please!
6. Looking for a relationship of a lifetime. I ain’t one who goes to play the dating game so this one is my last. Expecting serious, monogamous relationship where we talk out our differences and disagreements.
