Everything is taking 5+ minutes all of a sudden

Running a csharp build used to take like a few seconds yesterday but now running it takes 20+ minutes . Cancelling mid build takes 5 minutes . I'm going insane over this and i feel like I have tried everything , restarting , shifting to old code
