I started classdoom elite

Hey, I just started the Classroom of the Elite anime and finished episode 6. Why do people call Ayanokoji a manipulator? Is this some kind of larp thing like "Natsuki Daniel," or is there more to it? He was definitely smart in the first six episodes, but I don't think he actually did anything manipulative—though maybe that's just because I haven't watched enough yet; I'm not sure.
