ECV, FTM, 39 weeks

Hi! I originally declined at ECV at 37 weeks for a breech baby because I didn’t like the idea of going home after. My doctor offered to perform an ECV at 39+1 and induce right after or C section if it fails/results in an emergency. I’ll have the spinal block and uterus relaxing meds for the C section. I’m terrified of a stillbirth and that’s most important to me. Anyone have any experience with this? I’m a first time mom. Is it worth doing it or is it just a waste of my energy? Or any labor and delivery staff that can chime in is much appreciated. Thank you
