never gotten a tattoo, want one near my ankle

Hello! I am F20 and want to get my first ever tattoo. Im thinking about doing my two cats paws near my ankle (i got them when i was 9). I want the tattoos to be visible to me but hidden in a spot they are easy to cover up. I’ve heard that around the ankle is a painful area for a tattoo and I am pretty thin. I’m worried that it might be too painful and I wont be able to handle it (since I’ve never gotten a tattoo before). For reference I once fissure fractured my hand (a crack in the bone but not fully broken) when I was 8 and didnt feel a thing, wore a cast for 6 weeks, but my periods are pretty bad, needing 4 painkillers a day to function okay (no endometriosis) so I cant tell what my pain tolerance is. Should I rethink my spot?
