We are Babelfish! A new soulful breaks collective in Copenhagen, Denmark.

We are Babelfish! A soulful breaks collective [jungle, drum and bass, garage] located in Copenhagen, Denmark. In this city drum and bass is niche enough as it is, let alone playing on the more liquid side. So we have taken the initiative to start a collective focused on the soul of break-heavy music.

The collective will also be focused on crafting a kind of story with each event in which a Diver hitchhiking across the galaxy encounters a fish he recognizes as an Earthling. He saves the fish from the evil Fishmonger and they begin their long episodic trip home. This story will be told in flyers and media as well as visual and auditory experiences during our gigs.

We are just some months old and already have 4 gigs booked without having even played yet!

If you're in town our hard launch will be October 10th, 2026 at H15 where we will be having Octavate join us as a headliner. We are so excited!

Also if you are in Denmark, Germany, or Sweden and close enough by to be a part of us don't hesitate to reach out if this sounds like something you'd enjoy. We are young, hungry, and full of passion.

Give a follow and we will follow you back!
