I have some fruiting superhots, think these are 7 pot douglah, which were doing fine until I moved them indoors under a light. Plants are about 7 months old and 4-5 ft high.

As the weather will turn colder in a few weeks I bought a 320w full spectrum light and put them underneath with about 1.5 ft between top of canopy and light , 14 hours on 70% and an oscillating fan blowing 24/7. They are in a big empty space around 325sq ft, which is around 77f.

All seemed fine after day 1, bumped the setting to 85% and all wasn't fine after day 2...

I moved the light up by another half a ft and dimmed to 55% for day 2, still tacoing further than day 1. Dimmed it to 40% on day 3, and still getting worse...

So a few questions.

1. I have a light meter on the way, so I won't know for sure until then, but Photone or ppfd meter Android apps are telling me (as expected) that the lighting shouldn't be a problem anymore. Ppfd numbers of \~200 at top of canopy.

Is it normal they keep getting worse for a few days until they start recovering?

2. I picked a leaf, it has a different soft/matte texture at the bottom as the leaves which didn't taco, and also shows some with fuzz (which won't come off if rubbed). Is this just an effect of the lighting issue as well, or is something else going on?

3. With this happening in just 3 days, I can't imagine this is something else besides the lighting, no changes in fert or watering, but maybe I am unaware of something else?
