How do you beat bigger channels flooding your niche with low-depth content?

Jrod and I have been collaborating on making detailed guides, but we’ve hit a huge hurdle on YouTube.

A bunch of larger creators (mostly jumping over from MLB The Show) have started making star mode content. They aren't dropping actual useful info, but their channel size is letting them dominate the algorithm anyway.

Any advice on how a smaller channel can break through and get recommended alongside or over these bigger creators?
