Help

I sometimes use Reddit to actually voice out out my feelings .Long story short
I (18m) is feeling very stuck,I’m about to go to university to go study business management,yes business management but now there’s a lot of people telling me I’m making a misase saying I’m studying a degree that’s not gonna take me anywhere.Its kinda making me feel bad about myself and my self esteem as a person,I mean I see all these kids my age breaking into Tech and all that or choosing hard core degrees like medicine and cybersecurity and I’m a bit insecure.My family has basically left me with my decisions .I don’t know what to think.Im thinking of learning some tech skill while in uni.Also branching out with internships.I don’t know.I appreciate any advice or words of wisdom. Its greatly appreciated!!!
