How do I cut off someone who has designated me as a ‘limerence object’ we are both autistic and I feel bad.

Seeking Advice

I have posted about this person before, and unfortunately their behaviour and my former college’s apparent inability to protect both of us has caused me to leave the college before the term was over.

Things were quiet for a bit, and I was so, so relieved. Then someone leaked my new discord account and my email address and the floodgates opened again.
I was able to block the numerous accounts, but I had to log into my old college email address today to look at my final grade, and it was full of desperate messages. I remembered that someone in the previous post said that this sounded like ‘limerence’ and I googled it, and it makes a lot of sense.

The issue is that I DO NOT want to contact authorities, nor do I want to ruin their education. This person has scared me very badly and made me uncomfortable, but I don’t think they are a bad person. I think they are an autistic person who cannot read social cues, and has begun wilfully ignoring ‘no’ because they are in limerence.

I know limerence is common in other autistic women- heck, I may have experienced it too, idk, and I’ve seen a lot of posts here from women who are in limerence, so I want to ask desperately how do I stop this with the least amount of collateral damage.

Is there anything I can say or do to make them snap out of it? Is there a way I can get authorities involved without putting things onto their permanent record? I would hate to ruin their life, they are a few years younger than me and I feel awful. Any time I read a message from them (I don’t do it on purpose they just make new email accounts and stuff) it just full of ‘I don’t know what I did’ or ‘please just reply’ or ‘why did you leave X school?’

Do I reply? Do I just ghost them forever? Please help!
