Turo or Communauto Reliability

Hi all, my parents are visiting Halifax soon. Rental cars from major dealers are pretty expensive so was exploring multi-day reservations with Turo or Communauto. Just wanted to ask about your experience? Are these car sharing services reliable? Anything we should know?
