If I generate subtitles, I obviously want to export them
I really don't understand why DaVinci Resolve treats subtitles as something that has to be manually enabled again during export.
If I generate subtitles for my video, it's because I want those subtitles to be part of the final export. At the very least, Resolve should warn me before exporting:
“This timeline contains subtitles. Do you want to include them in the export?”
And then let me choose whether to burn them into the video or export them as a separate subtitle track.
Having to go back to the export settings every single time and manually enable “Burn into video” is unnecessarily cumbersome.
It's basically like adding a song to the timeline and then having Resolve ask me during export whether I want to export the audio too.
I understand that there are legitimate reasons for having subtitles as optional tracks, but there should be a much more obvious workflow for users who created the subtitles specifically to be included in the final video.
At the very least, give us a warning before export if subtitles exist but aren't configured to be exported.
