Cancelled ticket, but train still bookable at higher price?

Hoping for some help understanding this.

About a month ago, I booked a train for $60 from Philly to Kingston for late October. I got an email today that my ticket was cancelled due to a schedule adjustment, and that I could rebook my trip or receive a refund.

I looked online and a train with the same departure/arrival time is still available...for $127! I also have not yet elected to rebook/refund my trip, but received an email that my trip was refunded. 🙃

Anymore know what's going on? Fwiw, I tried contacting Amtrak and am on a long wait. And as added irony, I am currently on an Amtrak train with awful Wi-Fi and no AC.
