How long with antibiotics did it take to clear?

I've been to the doctor's and been diagnosed today. I had a small face rash and used hydrocortisone cream but used it for 2 months without realising you should only use for 7 days. I now have it around my entire mouth and it started under my eyes yesterday. I stopped using the cream on Monday. The doctor would prescribe me antibiotics but said I cannot go in the sun for 6 weeks. I have a holiday and an important event in 2 and 3 weeks time so will be in the sun. Has this cleared up quicker than the 6 weeks for anyone? Also cannot stop the use of makeup as cant face going out without it 😭 wondering if there's hope I can use the antibiotics for 2 weeks, it clears and then I can stop early
