What happened to the Mycotyrant?

Like the title says, whatever happened to the Mycotyrant after Lost Caverns of Ixalan? It was almost destroyed during the battle in the core, but escaped, infected Sunray Bay, and set sail for High and Dry, the Brazen Coalition's Capitol. Malcolm and Breeches set off after it to warn people and engage with it again.

But then Thunder Junction rolls around 2 sets later, and Malcolm and Breeches are just chilling with the crew like nothing happened? I know Vraska went to recruit them, which they eagerly agreed to since she used to be their captain, but did anything actually say what happened back on Ixalan? Did they just abandon their efforts there, or is the Mycotyrant fully defeated?
