Censoring non swear words in any media is stupid and pointless.

M*rder. R*pe. Suic*de. Gen*cide. K*ll. M*lest. Ped*phile.

They're words to describe things. Yes, they're uncomfortable and nasty words, to describe uncomfortable and nasty things. They're not slurs.

Everyone reading knows what the words are, they know what they mean, so putting an asterisk doesn't ease the blow or change anything. Just type the goddamn word.

If the concern is that children will be reading, it's still pointless because they already either know what it means or they don't. If they don't you can just tell them when they're older.

Blows my mind we live in an age where any 8 year old with half a brain and typical gen alpha screen skills can get into pornhub without any effort yet we're busy putting asterisks in "Shooter" and saying "unalive". Fruitless endeavor.
