HELP, I need help making a decision on stroller choice!
Ok guys, I need some help! FTM, almost 32 weeks pregnant, and need to make a choice as soon as possible on a stroller so I can move to picking a car seat lol
After weeks of research, we have decided that we want to go with the Silver Cross Breez stroller/bassinet combo. We tried it in store, its beautiful, pushes great, love that everything is foldable, light enough, etc. Our babe will be born in early October and we MIGHT be able to get the stroller before then (store says the have it in stock), but the bassinet ships late Sept. which is fine if it doesn't get delayed like they have been for a while. The whole thing would cost us ~$1,300, which makes me nervous as someone who likes saving money when they can.
Now, I can get my hands on a Silver Cross Wave 3 (2 seats + bassinet) secondhand for $800. We haven't tried it before, but it seems like the stroller is bulkier, slightly heavier, nothing folds together so have to take everything apart to put in trunk, and hoping that the previous owner treated it nicely. This will be our first child and we don't know if/when we'll have our next one, but more than likely within 2-3 years (if possible).
*Details that might matter: We live in the suburbs in Florida, the stroller would be used for walking around our neighborhood, shopping, farmers market, family gatherings, beach (maybe), etc. I plan on getting a smaller foldable stroller for traveling. We drive mid-size vehicles. I have carpal tunnel issues (which affect my ability of heavy lifting).
So, which stroller would you choose? The more expensive one that has the features that you like and fits your lifestyle right now OR the cheaper, but bulkier, one that doesn't have all the features you want, but it can grow with your family if you choose to do so saving you money on the long run?
