Looking to build an X-Men collection — what are the must-reads? What are the current runs looking like?

Apologies if this isn't the place for this type post. I’m looking to start building out my X-Men collection and would love some recommendations from other collectors.

I’m interested in both current X-Men comics and older essential stories. What I’d especially love recommendations on:

• What series or runs are worth collecting right now?
• What stories or runs do you consider must owns?
• What are some must read stories for Individual characters?

Thanks!
