Seasoned & newbies-Flat irons that Last

I’ve been researching to the end of the earth, literally globally, for Pro Stylists’ recommendations on newer flat irons that will LAST. Durability and electrical security are musts. We only purchase through retailers for ‘better’ quality, yet would prefer to stay in the <$200 range since it’ll be new and so many newer things tend to fail, have less quality control(QC) in some overseas countries. But I would splurge if I knew it’d give me a good 5-10 years. I had a CHI that was great & lasted 15 years but I find mixed reviews from everyone/where about current ones. I invite opinions, why anyone that knows what is solid quality & if it comes from reputable manufacturing ‘sites’? E.g; CHI Lava 2.0 specifically was manufactured in Germany, yet all others in China & elsewhere, but it’s not available from there anymore. Preferring ceramic or Ceramic Tourmaline, trying to avoid Titanium. But tell me your thoughts, stories, opinions, or if u know who actually honor their 1-2 year warranties-convince me just to make a dern choice(but not by influencers or AI). 😵‍💫🤪Thanks in advance! 😉
