My brother's girlfriend hates me for (I think) no reason.
Hello! Recently (Around 2 months ago) my brother started dating a girl he met in a course for unemployed people (I don't know if it's the same in other countries, but, here if you are unemployed and want, you can sign up for some courses for free and, in some cases like this one, you even have the option of being hired after finishing.) for computer repair and stuff like that, and they are doing quite well, but, about a week ago, I introduced myself to his girlfriend, and i really liked her and she was very nice and all, but, after talking for a while in private since my brother had gone away for something and she insisted on talking to me in private, she told me that she would have a conversation about me with my brother, but I didn't think she was referring to a bad conversation or something, she told it in a rather neutral tone, not as a threat or anything, but yesterday my brother told me that his girlfriend has told him and her friends that i discriminated her for being autistic and for being older than my brother, when i literally didn't said NOTHING about that, my brother believes me and he says that maybe she misinterpreted something i say, but i don't want to be bad with his girlfriend because she seems like a good girl, the only thing I can think of that I could think that she misinterpreted is this (More or less, I don't remember the exact words I said, but it was along these lines):
-"It is a surprise that it is the first relationship for both of us (My brother is 22 and she is 25 years old), my brother suffered a lot as a child, so I am glad that he found a suitable girl for him."
-"My brother told me that you are neurodivergent. Is there anything that bothers you or that I should know about? I would like you to be as comfortable as possible here."
-"I hope they hire you both, my brother mentioned that you are in separate groups (The course has several groups, one is for unemployed people, like my brother, and another for vulnerable sectors, like her.) and that they hire 1 or 2 people per group, so it is a real possibility."
Also, I'm sorry if any phrases read strange 😅 I'm using a translator.
