How does Fedex get away with blatant lying and fraud when they miss delivery times?

I had a package paid priority overnight to be delivered by 12pm.

11:37 am my tracking updates that due to weather it is impacting their delivery.

I live in Texas where we haven't had rain in over a month, and it's sunny as can be outside.

Then 2 minutes later I get a text saying they made a delivery attempt and they couldn't deliver it so they'll be back tomorrow.

This shit literally only happens with Fed Ex
