Weight restrictions & unsupportive employer

I'm so upset! My doctors put a weight restriction on me due to some mild complications but nevertheless my employer is giving me the hardest time about approving them. I work an extremely physically demanding job that requires frequently lifting over my set limit. I was told to just ask for help until its approved but in my field it's not always possible to find help & it's a patient care job. So you have that added layer of empathy for your patients to struggle with.

I got so frustrated with them I put my notice in but I have a few more shifts I have to work and my accommodation request is still not approved. I've been so depressed since this happened. Ever since I announced my pregnancy they've acted differently towards me. Often citing me as being dramatic for standing up for my boundaries. I'm relieved to be leaving but also heart broken because I'm having to take additional time off work I didn't want to & I do love my coworkers.
