18M UK Chilling for the evening and looking to make friends with other nerds

Hey hey! Haven’t been on the sub in a bit but last I was I was 17 and now being 18 hopefully I meet a wider variety!

I’m an 18 year old male in the UK (Midlands to give a rough idea) and within a month am heading off to university. With that in mind I want to get to know new people and make new friends!

To give an idea about my interests I proudly take the label of nerd and find myself interested in superheroes, wrestling and videogames (singleplayer ones). Few months ago now I even started properly collecting comics which is a lot of fun as I love the medium.

Outside of interests if you’re curious about me as a person I would certainly say I am a liberal and a supporter of the causes that align with that (e.g. feminism, LGBTQIA+, civil rights etc). I try my best to be as polite and kind to people as I can as I firmly stand by the idea we are all equals.
