Is there a cheaper option than Carfax out there ?

My dad came with me to see a pickup and just stood there arms crossed the whole time not saying a word, which somehow made the seller more nervous than anything I could've said. We got $400 off just from that energy alone lol, dad didn't even try. Funny how that works sometimes, some people just have a face that makes sellers sweat.

Still gotta run the VIN before we commit though, don't wanna get too excited over a good price and skip the important stuff. Getting tired of paying full Carfax price every single time though, especially when I'm not even sure this is the one yet.
