Teen boys

I was told that parenting a teen boy was so much easier than girls, but my almost 15 year old son is SO mean to me though. I can do nothing right. his attitude is so nasty sometimes. I look at other families and their boys are kind and respectful and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. I completely understand that I’m annoying sometimes. but I literally cannot say anything and I’m met with hostility. I’m just feeling alone.
