How do you clean the resin out of the bowl?

Happy Friday Eve everyone,

Just wanted to ask you more experienced stoners a bit of a question:
How do you clean those annoying sticky globs of resin within the bowl of your bong? I do a good job regularly cleaning my piece with some good ol rubbing alcohol and salt. Downstem and main glass bong comes out squeaky clean each time. Yet there’s annoying trapped resin wayy within my bowl piece. It clogs frequently inbetween cleaning and builds up with resin i usually have to poke out with a piece of metal. How do i prevent this from building up and cleaning it?
