Renting in Bern

Hi guys! I will soon be moving to Switzerland, specifically canton Bern, and im having a "hard time" applying for apartments... I've been looking to rent an apartment for the last 2-3 weeks (I know, not that long) but sadly no luck. I'll be moving with my co-worker ( both physios, Spanish, combined 12k per month salary, speaking German...) but the thing is for 90% of the listings I apply, I don't even get a reply. And for the 2 that did reply, they don't seem very serious tbh.

We are supposed to start at the praxis October 1st, so still have time, but do you guys have any tips?? We've been applying mainly at flatfox with a presentation letter, but im not sure if it's the market or im doing something wrong. Would love to hear your tips and suggestions!
