when does accounts payable software start making sense for a small business?
the business is still pretty lean, but there are enough recurring bills and vendor payments now that keeping everything in a spreadsheet is starting to get messy.
i don’t have a dedicated finance person handling this, so i’m trying to keep the process simple while making sure invoices and payments don’t get missed. i’ve been looking into accounts payable software, but i’m not sure when it’s worth adding another tool versus just sticking with spreadsheets for a while longer.
for other young business owners, what made you decide it was time to move away from manual AP?
