[KCD1] What's the quickest way out of needle in the haystack without immediately being swarmed by magical monk guards?.

This quest is hands down the worst thing ive ever experienced in a game, and if it was any other game I would have just stopped playing here, but alas im committed to finishing this one before playing KCD2. How can I clear this quest quickly without having to deal with the wizard guards because when i killed antonius in his sleep although nobody witnessed it or woke up within 15 seconds there was a troop of magicians running up the steps to arrest me.
