Welp, right off the bat, Yuuta had a bit of a wardrobe change, as you can clearly see. By this point in development, I nailed down the vibe of Moments In Time and the connecting theme of the character designs: "adventure after bedtime." The story was going to begin in the middle of the night when the kids were meant to be in bed. Since things happen so fast, they wouldn't have a chance to dress in more appropriate travel ware. And so, what you're seeing here is Yuuta in his PJs. Pretty standard stuff. Breathable tank top and some long pants. In case you're curious: yes, the hat stays on when he sleeps. Showers and laundry day: only times it comes off. And it's a fight to make him hand it over.

I also started to embrace the feminine nature of his look a little more. To stay on that for a second: this is when I decided I really wanted to lean more towards him looking like a girl. Design-wise, I want the average viewer to assume he is a girl until he or someone else directly states he's a boy. THAT'S how feminine I want him to look. There's no real reason besides "it's cute and funny." Don't look too deep into it, he's 100% a boy and fine with it. Story-wise? I know I keep doing this, and I'm sorry. But I can't talk about that here. But there is a method to my madness, I'm just gonna have to prove it.

Otherwise, there's not too much to say. This design was me refining what I had already drafted in the first one, with the biggest change being his main outfit. And that's really the change his next two designs are gonna follow after this. Honestly, I pretty much "got it" right here, the next steps were just making it look the best it possibly could.

Are you still watching his hair? Good.
