Struggling to get The Exorcist Badge

Not a huge concern but I am hoping to reach 100% completion.

According to the Wiki it is "Immediately granted to all players (living or dead)." when you burn up a ghost.

My friend burned one up Tuesday and received the badge and I did not. On Wednesday I burned one up myself with a candle and still did not receive the badge. Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!
