Anyone here actually comfortable keeping money on crypto casinos?

I've used regular betting sites before, but lately I keep coming across crypto casinos and I'm still not sure how much of the convenience is worth the extra risk.

The appeal is obvious. Deposits are quick, game selection is usually massive, and some withdrawals seem much faster than what I've dealt with on traditional sites. But I'm way more cautious about sending crypto somewhere because if something goes wrong, there isn't exactly a bank chargeback waiting in the background.

The main thing I'm confused about is how people separate legitimate operators from sites that just look legitimate.

For example, does a Curaçao licence actually mean much to you when choosing a site? And with “provably fair” games, are people genuinely verifying the results or is that mostly something casinos put in the footer because it sounds reassuring?

I'm also curious about withdrawal problems. I've seen stories where people deposit without any issue and only discover KYC requirements, wagering restrictions or withdrawal limits after trying to take money out.

For those who've used these sites for a while, what do you check before depositing?

And have you had cases where a site seemed completely normal until you tried to withdraw???
