Razer Kishi V3 Pro XL + iPad Pro seemed like the perfect Moonlight setup… until I discovered there’s no rumble
I thought I had finally found my perfect handheld streaming setup: an 11-inch iPad Pro M4 with a Razer Kishi V3 Pro XL, streaming my PC through Moonlight/Apollo.
And honestly, almost everything about it is great. The big 120Hz OLED display looks amazing, AV1 HDR streaming works really well, latency is extremely low, and the Kishi makes the iPad feel much more like a proper handheld.
Then I discovered that the Kishi’s rumble/haptics don’t work on iOS/iPadOS.
That’s pretty disappointing considering I paid €180 for the controller, especially since the hardware itself actually has haptic motors.
Now I’m not sure whether I’m going to keep it. I really like everything else about the setup, but I definitely notice the lack of rumble in games.
Has anyone here been in the same situation?
Did you return your Kishi V3 Pro XL and find an alternative that fits an 11-inch iPad and actually supports rumble in Moonlight? Or did you just accept the lack of rumble and keep the Kishi?
I’d be interested to hear what others ended up doing.
