**I'm an Amazon Seller and Vine member and wanted to provide my unique perspective from being in both worlds:**

Amazon sellers, for the most part, do not think Vine is worth the money or effort for what they get. If you enjoy getting good quality products and not just cheap trinket garbage, then evaluate your review strategy.

**This is the strategy I use with Vine, and as a seller, it's the one I know sellers appreciate:**

1) If the product meets all expectations, the item is exactly as stated, and at fair market value, then I leave 5 Stars.

2) If the product "surpasses expectations" and is exactly as stated, then I leave 5 Stars AND I click 5 stars under seller feedback also, and leave 1 single word "Great". that's a huge way to let the seller know to keep on doing what they're doing. Sellers see it as a little nod and they'll keep adding actual good products.

3) If you get a high-ticket item, like a PC monitor or vacuum, etc., consider rewarding them for adding their high-ticket item to Vine by giving them a 5-star seller review. If I get something I really love, I try to show some love back, so we can keep this circle going! I hope you'll consider doing the same the next time you score that TV, espresso machine, or whatever item you really are glad to find on VIne.

then consider leaving a quick 5-star seller review "when deserved". Happy sellers will keep putting their items into the Vine program.

**What you probably DON'T KNOW:**

An individual seller pays to put a product listing into vine to get product reviews; other sellers (usually) can come along and also sell that same product on that same product page, so seller #2 now benefits from seller #1, who paid the Vine program fees AND the costs of giving away all those products for free. They both benefit from the work of Seller #1. So IMO, seller #1 deserves a seller review as this will weigh on who gets the buy box. (seller review score is 1 factor of the buy box). Right now, one complaint by sellers on the vine program is that sometimes, they pay the fees and product costs to get the product reviews, and then other sellers come along and scoop up the buy box and they show up on that product page as the main seller. Just something to consider. Vine reviews go to the listing page of the product, they are not tied to any 1 seller. So that's another reason why sellers are not huge fans of the Vine program. It doesnt gaurantee them anything, the benifits or solely to the product page, which for the most part, are open to other sellers to be a part of.

FYI: The "Leave seller feedback" button is found in "My orders", it literally takes about 5 seconds. Click 5 stars, and you literally can leave just 1 single word like "great"

I'm a member on the Seller forum also, so if you want the sellers to know something, feel free to let me know and I'll pass it along, but its only US sellers in there, Chineese Sellers dont go in there, so I can't pass along anything to the cheap trinket stuff sellers. Most US sellers are now aware of the whole ETV value tax thing, and that hiking the price is NOT a good thing to do during the vine product days. They were using that tactic to get the "lowest price in 30 days" badge. You have to sell at least 1 single unit at the higher price, in order to get that badge after you bring the price down, and the vine sales, counted as getting a sale at that higher listed price. So the tactic was Price it at $100, get a sale or vine order, wait a couple of weeks, then lower the price to $50, then you get the nice "lowest price in 30 days", "save 50% by purchasing now" badges, which both help increase sales more for the next month. This is why, if you track priceing on apps like keepa, that youll see the price go up in price each month, then after a sale at that price (a few days maybe), then the price goes back down. Well thats why you see that.

Keep the Vine Program Going and keep Gooood items Coming... By doing this:
