My neurologist’s would tell me I have PNES but then my epilepsy specialist told me it’s focal aware epilepsy

Every neurologist told me “ it’s PNES” but it didn’t make since or line of with my symptoms. We finally went to an epilepsy specialist. Is there any way I can get the PNES diagnosis off? I genuinely don’t believe I have PNES. Medication works, stress doesn’t trigger them. I don’t shake o feel like I’m on fire, muscles tense and curl inward my face droops it looks like I had a stroke and that’s just some of the symptoms. Also this only happens off of my medication. My EEG would be normal but they never recommend an EEG where the electrolytes are directly on my brain only my scalp. Now I’m being told to do this EEG and I’m scared ash. I was originally diagnosed with frontal lobe epilepsy they recommend brain surgery. 16 years of this and just now I find this out and their recommending brain surgery AGAIN. Why did it take so long? Why didn’t they try harder?
