What is happening in this sub?

Lately, I’ve noticed that most of my posts and comments are getting downvoted, even when the takes are completely harmless. Sometimes, I’m literally just asking for recommendations. People in this sub really need to understand that opinions can differ, but you can still disagree while respecting the OP.
