Why are poeple so obsessed with reloading in this game?

I recently came back to this game after like a year long break. Moving on from all the usual complaints about "matchmaking this" and "smurf that" , one thing i noticed alot in this game, especially in my rank (bronze 2) is that people seem to reload too often, even though they have a reasonable amount of bullets in their mag. Reloading might seem good, yeah you are resetting ur mag, but one too many times i've seen my teammates, even in 1v1 situations, use up all of their ammo, which to me sounds absolutely odd. Plus, whilst reloading i dont think you can shoot your gun as far as i am aware, and reloading also creates noise. This particular aspect seems to affect my teamates and sometimes the enemy team too, many times i've seen my mates hiding in a rat corner, and for some reason they reload, causing noise and dying pathetically in that spot, yelling on why the enemy found them, cheater, why didnt we ping the enemies location etc etc.

All in all, peoples obsession with reloading in this game, even if they used a few bullets. This irks me wrong as i've come from cs and i usually never saw this kinda things as often as i did in cs, or is it js me being dumb? comment yalls thoughts.
