Anybody had a TIA or something similar after dvt/pe?

In nov 2025 i had a massive DVT and PE in both lungs. Been on eliquis ever since and apart from a permanently swollen leg i'm doing pretty good. Yesterday i was doing some light weight lifting at home and i couldnt read the last 2 mumbers on my digital clock anymore, then i sat down behind my computer and tried reading reddit and had trouble reading texts. It is difficult to describe but it was like there was a worm shaped thing in the right side corner of my eye that was blocking or morphing my sight there a bit. It lasted around 20 to 30 minutes and then my sight was back to norma. I didn't think much of it because i've had temporarely unclear sight in the past a few times many years ago and floaters since my teenage years, but this time it felt a bit different. So later i talked to ai about it and described my symptoms and medical history and ai said that i might have had a TIA and that i needed to go to ER asap.

So i went and spend hours waiting and when i finally talked to a doctor they did zero tests and send me home with a paper to visit the eye doctor the next day. I expected blood tests, ultrasound, maybe MRI...but nothing. She said i most likely did not have a blood clot or TIA/stroke, because the visual distortion did not last long. I found this a very weird answer because ai said something different. I live in Eastern Europe and the public hospitals here are pretty bad, my mom was in this same hospital last month and got a wrong diagnosis, they told her she had a sprained ankle which later during a second opinion turned out to be gout. So my faith in this hospital and some of its doctors is not the best. I went to the eye doctor and she did not find anything wrong with it, she told me to go get an ultra sound of my neck.

I'll be going to private clinics from now which will cost me money but at least i will be taken more serious than in that horrible communist public hospital. Just was wondering if somebody here can tell me what a TIA feels like. I did not have any other symptoms and feel normal.
