Hobie adventure island 2011 vs 2017 Re-design

Does anyone have any experience of these boats. I've only rented the 2026 and it performed amazingly close hauled and on a beam reach of 20+knots and waves due to wind against tide. I was able to reach 9+ knots.

I'm looking at two used in my area and the 2011 appeals due to lighter weight and ease of car topping solo, but I would be disappointed if it couldn't sail as well on those conditions.
