Post-surgery Question

Hello, I had gynecological surgery 8 days ago, during which they found and removed instances of endometriosis in several places. This required an extra laparoscopic incision on one side as one of the places that they removed endo from was one my ureters. So far, I’ve been healing well…except as of three days ago, I randomly started developing a completely new bruise where that removal was (away from the incision site, further towards the groin). It’s now a large brown bruise covering half of my pelvis and I’m more sore in that area than I was four or five days ago. Is this delayed bruising and increased soreness normal? My ‘surgical team’ only seems willing to communicate with me via an unrelated RN on the portal, and I haven’t been able to find any resources on delayed bruising like this, related to endometriosis or otherwise. Just trying to work out if I need to advocate for myself harder or just leave it be.
