So I just read “The Silent Patient” for the first time, I wanted to ask something

Earlier reviews show that this book is horrible? But idk why. Maybe it has to do with my reading comprehension of a 5 yr old, but I can’t pinpoint what’s the issue. Is it the characters? Is it how the story goes? Is it how a person with psychological issues is portrayed? Or is it the whole depth of the story thingy where it feels like the whole book was written by a kid? I could never say. Keep in mind I’m a beginner reader who’s genuinely amused at ANYTHING pls.
