Games deleted

I recently acquired both War in the North and Agent 64 fit girl repacks. I got them from my usual site so wouldn’t assume anything untoward. Played a bit of agent 64 and it ran fine but when I booted War in the North everything seemed fine but suddenly after selecting character to start the game is closed the game and took me to desktop, I tried to reboot and it’s telling me the shortcut no longer works because game files have been changed or deleted. I check the directory and not only has War in the north completely vanished but so has agent 64…checked windows defender and there’s no evidence it’s deleted or blocked anything. What the hell just happened?!
