Having children

Hello everyone this is my first post here so I’m sorry if my question comes off as confusing. I have seen many posts that are somewhat similar but I’m kind of looking for a direct answer. I’ve had HSV2 since I was 7 from some unfortunate circumstances. I would have outbreaks mostly from stress. I’m now 22 and have been on daily antivirals (1g ValCyclovir) for a year and haven’t had an outbreak since. My outbreaks were more severe when I was younger and closer together in time but as I got older before starting the antivirals, I’d have an outbreak maybe 3-4 times a year. I’m in my first real relationship and we have been together for 8 months. We are considering having a baby together and getting married. He has a basic understanding of my HSV2, but we use condoms when having intercourse. I’m just terrified to try for a baby knowing there is a possibility I could give it to him. As a female, what is the transmission risk for me to give it to him? Is this a valid fear? I get uncertain about things and I’m just scared to try, even though all I’ve ever wanted to be was a mom, I just have thought for so long that wasn’t going to be possible for me with my diagnosis. Thank you for your time and advice I really appreciate it.
