Anyone Applied for SSN Recently After Getting OPT EAD? 🇺🇸

Hi everyone! I recently received my OPT EAD card and have already started my job. Now I need to apply for my first SSN.
Has anyone applied recently?
Do i need to file form 1st then walk in?
Did you walk into the Social Security office, or did you need an appointment?
If you made an appointment, how did you schedule it?
What documents did you bring?
How long did it take to receive your SSN card after applying?
I tried applying online, but when I clicked “Schedule Appointment,” it redirected me to create/sign into an account.
Would really appreciate hearing from anyone who went through this process recently. Thank you!
