What the 3D could have been!

The 3D has been revolutionary for modern N64 gaming. Staying true to the original vision while allowing for progressive internal upscaling to improve image quality, and save states to minimize wasted time; it's been a fantastic experience.

Can you imagine if they made it a 5th generation FPGA instead, supporting PS1 and Saturn games with those same features? The library and charm of all those early 3D systems is unbeatable.
