Did he fake being intentional just to get sexual, or am I reading too much into this?

I started talking to a guy online a little over a week ago, and up until yesterday he seemed really sweet and intentional. He asked thoughtful questions about my family, life, and what I’m looking for, and even came up with cute little games where we’d exchange songs and pictures.
Then yesterday, a normal call suddenly became extremely sexual. He started asking explicit questions about positions, turn-ons, my sexual history, etc., and told me about past experiences involving random sex, public sex, and group sex. I told him I’m pretty vanilla and didn’t feel comfortable discussing all of that yet because we barely know each other.

But he kept going and goingggggg….

He started describing what he’d want to do to me sexually, asked me to do a 360 on camera, and kept pushing the conversation even though I clearly wasn’t matching his energy. When he asked when I’d be comfortable having sex, I told him I only do that in an exclusive relationship and would want us both tested and transparent about our sexual health. He then asked whether l would be open t just use condoms before exclusivity/testing. I said no.

The whole thing really put me off. I understand sexual compatibility matters, but this felt way too intense and graphic for someone I’ve known for a week, especially after I said I wasn’t comfortable. Now I’m wondering if the sweet, marriage-minded version of him was genuine or if he was just getting me comfortable before turning things sexual.
Would this put you off too, or am I overthinking it?
